Birgitta De Pree is in love with the theater. As Artistic Director of the MAT (along with husband Jim Jackson) her job entails everything from performing and directing to coordinating ticket sales and bulk-mailings. She particularly enjoys the wild adventure that creating and producing new work entails. This season she helped create four original plays for the MAT and directed two for this festival. Who knew an MFA in acting would lead her to this wonderful place?

Eve Tilley, a native of Colorado Springs, graduated from the Colorado College with a B. A. in English and a Master of Arts in Teaching for secondary school with theatre emphasis. As president of the Star Bar Players from 1981-1987, she performed every theatre related activity but hang lights. In addition to having been privileged to direct for the Six Women Playwriting Festival for the past 5 years, she has also directed for Little London Productions, Encore! Dinner Theatre, the Fine Arts Center Repertory Theatre Company, the Manitou Art Theatre and a production of The Wedding Trunk by “6 Women” founder, Donna Guthrie, which was filmed for the Pikes Peak Library District, as well as directing and acting for Theatreworks and performing in her favorite role to date as Witch #2 in Macbeth for Smokebrush. Though her favorite medium is theatre, she also dabbles in visual arts creating costumes, designing pop-up greeting cards, posters, and an occasional brochure. Eve has recently retired after 15 years as president of the Pikes Peak Arts Council, and is happily married to Sol Chavez, set designer extraordinaire and engineer who graciously puts up with her cats, plants, and arts-related activities.

WARREN EPSTEIN
This is one of Warren's first directorial efforts. He's been a regular actor in the 6 Women Playwriting Festival and a frequent contributor in the MAT's 10 Minutes Max. His first dabble in play writing, "The Moby," appeared in the MAT's recent Four Play Festival.

Lisa Siebert's directing credits include Glengarry Glen Ross for Springs Ensemble Theatre (SET) and Below the Belt at Gardner Stages in L.A. Her recent acting performances include The Smell of the Kill with SET; the 2010 Women's Playwriting Festival at the MAT!; and Five Women Wearing the Same Dress and Bell, Book and Candle with StarBar Players. Lisa moved from L.A. in 2005 and continues to dabble in commercial work through Maximum Talent in Denver. Prior to her SoCal life, she studied theatre and philosophy at Northwestern University and Cornell College and performed in community theatres in St. Louis and Cedar Rapids. Love to Chad & Elly!

Tracy Mobley-Martinez was born in Missouri, but is mostly from New Mexico. She studied theater at Oberlin College, but eventually graduated from the University of New Mexico with a bachelors degree and a masters degree in studio art. She's written about the arts as a journalist and critic for about 15 years and is the arts reporter for The Gazette. As of today anyway. Her favorite color is red. She likes dogs and her husband Bill Crane.
